Sand Covering Unit

There are various reasons for using sand as a covering medium, the most important being to apply some counter-pressure to the seed during germination. Another reason is to lighten the darker colour of potting soil, which will cause the light to reflect. This light reflection makes for a more compact and stronger plant. This unique feature of the Sand Covering Unit is its capability to scatter a very thin and even layer. Apart from that, the scattering density is fully adjustable, without impacting the homogeneity of the scattering layer. The series includes also the Vermiculite and Soil covering units.
